Na Příkopě

The Na Příkopě Street is a famous Prague shopping zone. A huge number of luxury boutiques, shops with jewels and Czech glass, brand stores with sport equipment, as well as large shopping galleries can be found there. The range of famous and luxury restaurants is also copious. All the important Czech banking houses have their branch offices there as well. Recommended places for shopping are the Myslbek shopping centre or the Černá Růže passage. The street is a pedestrian zone connecting the Wenceslas Square with the Square of the Republic and hundreds of thousands of people walk it daily.

New Smíchov

The shopping and entertainment centre Nový Smíchov is located in the Anděl neighbourhood not far from the metro station with the same name. It was built in the place of a former industrial complex named ČKD. There are in total 150 shops, brand outlets, luxury boutiques, wine cellars and bookshops on two large floors. Part of the centre is also a Carrefour hypermarket. On the third floor you can visit international restaurants, as well as fast food establishments.

Rich sporting relaxation can be found in an exclusive fitness centre with a swimming pool, solarium and sauna. In a spacious playroom it is possible to play darts or bowling. Quality films can be seen in the multiplex Palace Cinemas. All the shops, restaurants and entertainment facilities are open on every day of the week. 2,500 parking places are available to visitors.

Charles Bridge

Original souvenirs, tiny jewellery, valuable pictures and photographs can be bought at dozens of little stalls spread across the Charles Bridge. It is possible to buy small presents for your relatives directly from skilled craftsmen and artists in the open air above the river. The price level usually depends on the weather and the actual state of the tourist season. Many performances of street musicians take place on the bridge as well. A lot of artists drawing authentic portraits offer their services here as well.
